This muffler cover is constructed out of stainless steel and hand TIG welded. It also has a spark arrester built in.
Expect cooler running temperatures, a rowdy sound, and 6-10% horsepower gain.

Ordered this bark box for my 500i. I have nothing but good to say about it. It is on the loud side but with ear pro it’s perfect. Very fun and purposeful upgrade. The throttle response is even more responsive and the saw pulls much more through a cut. I’ve been watching Donny Walker on YouTube for quite sometime now and wanted to support him and his shop and I’m so glad I did. Package was shipped the same day I ordered it and I received it very fast. Will order from him again. Adam East coast Canada.

This thing totally opens the muffler up and sounds insane, bought it Friday and it arrived by Monday. Really stoked, I want one for all my saws now!

Bark box 500i
I've already been impressed by the 500i but the bark box is a definite upgrade. I don't notice it having any more power, I think the horse power gains are marginal but the snappiness in the throttle is noticable and the saw runs way cooler than with the stock muffler cover. Pros: Very well made Easy install Increased throttle response Cooler temperature saw Throaty sound Cons: Horsepower gains questionable Loud af Increased fuel consumption
